My 1st Grade School Friend is a Gay Sex Crack Whore.
Posted by Rick Salasar
One of my oldest school friends is heading for an appalling end, it seems.
I first met the man I'll call Bill in the first grade. I think I can only recall two school mates from back then and Bill is one of them.
Bill was always bright, funny, interesting and kind. When I moved away from my home town for two years of my childhood, many formerly close relationships with school friends were lost. Bill and I never "hung out" after my return but it was a small enough community that he was always around.
Later, I found out that a new friend at high-school was hanging around with Bill. Both of them were prone to episodes of drink and drug fueled lunacy, usually on the back of Vespa scooters. That new high school friend is now a very good old friend and has very much kept his head, travelled much of the world, built a successful career and his wife has just given him his second son.
Bill, on the other hand, has gone completely the other direction. He was doing very well. A successful plastics design engineer, Bill had a loving wife and all the toys a guy needs including a nice house, modern sportsbike, expensive high-performance pickup (it IS the Midwest, after all), etc.
Eight-years ago, someone at a party put a crack pipe to Bill's lips. They might as well have just put a gun to his head and pulled the trigger. Since then, Bill has been in rehab five times, to no avail. He still only has to see winter road salt and he loses the plot.
Bill has pretty well lost it all. His 5000-dollar-a-month habit cost him his job in the US and he was busted at the border. His wife is divorcing him. He's so desperate, he supports his addiction by giving oral sex to autoworkers and he's not gay.
Our mutual friend and I have fantasized about grabbing all the weapons (some of them automatic) to which he, with a full-auto gun licence and an attitude to match, has access, and death-squadding crack dealers, but taking out small-time dealers solves nothing and trying to "neutralise" the top dogs would be too much for the two of us.
Outside of Hollywood scripts, the CIA and the US military are just too powerful.
Winning hearts and minds, indeed......

This is a poignant story. It is hard to bust crack lords and their multi-billion business. Many lives have been destroyed. There are billions of Bills globally shouting for help!

It's especially hard to bust their business when: A. a huge consumer demand exists and B. a huge government racket supports it. Remember folks, that same black man who struggles to get a job at McDonald's somehow found the money and connections to mastermind the import and distribution of tons of coke!
