Bangkok Speed Dating

Thanks to Electric John for emailing this in. Whoa Bangkok speed dating! Just what the doctor ordered. As the BNOW (Bangkok Network of Women) website has recently announced there will be a speed dating event taking place in Bangkok on May 25th. Yeah okay aside from giggling at the BNOW the obvious question is: 'What the hell do I need a dating service for? After all I have women allover my jock.' Simple! All proceeds will be donated to soidogrescue.org - a somewhat interesting yet noble charity choice for the BNOW. How cool is that?
Seriously though it might be fun so here is the lowdown:
Speed Dating Fund Raiser Benefiting Soi Dog Rescue
Who: Single Male and Female. Professional/executive singles who are married to their career/laptops.
What: A fund raiser for Soi Dog Rescue.
Where: To be announced to participants.
When: Wednesday 18-May-05 registers to participate. Wednesday 25-May-05 speed dating.
why: A little speed-dating fun and good will. For more details on both groups, please visit http://www.soidogrescue.org/mainnew2.htm
How: THB700 entry fee per each participant collected at the door. Proceed will be donated to Soi Dog rescue. To register and participate, please e-mail BNOW at bnow@inet.co.th and provide the following:

Hello and thanks for the Speed Dating information. I just started managing a restaurant/bar called Larry's Dive Bar & Grill on Sukhumvit Soi 22. I look forward to the Speed Dating event and I love charity events. Please tell everyone to stop by sometime and say hello. I will be organizing some fun events and parties at Larry's as well. Soon we will have "Full Moon Parties", "Drunk Driving Contests" (on Slot-Car Race Tracks), Extended Happy Hours, and Sporting Events on our Big Projection TV. These events and more will soon be added to our already running: Tuesday Open Mike Nights, Sunday's Live Music, Pool League, and Darts League.

Hah I live about 4 blocks from Larry's. I met the owner a year or so ago and I think he's a Canuck. I remember Trailor Park boys was on the TV!
Haven't been over there for a while I will have to stop in for one of your excellent burgers.
