Back in Bangers

After a short hiatus I have decided to finally make a post. I have actually just returned to the 'Kok after a very well deserved summer vacation in western Canada. Aside from being strip searched in the airport in Vancouver and being completely screwed over by the incompetent Thai embassy in the same city (these morons tried to tell me you don't need to leave Thailand every 90 days when you are on a Non-Immigrant B visa) - I had a pretty sweet time. After not returning home for over two years getting back to clean air and actually being able to see the stars was a nice change. Endless reefer and queer marriage to boot.
As for PB there have been some small changes. First I am going to continue writing here again as I have tidied up most of my projects. Secondly, Terrance Mann has decided to move back to Canada after teaching in Phuket for the last few years. Terry wrote some really compelling articles right after the tsunami. He also holds the distinction for single handedly removing the Speedo Menace from Thailand's beaches - way to go. I will remind him that I am still willing to pay for annual deliveries of Crown Royal and Players Light's (WTF $12/pack!). Seriously though we wish him the best as he is a top shelf guy regardless of what the ladyboys at Circle Jerk keep telling me.
Having said that, if anyone out there is interested in writing for PB please don't hesitate to drop me a line. If you have experience navigating the nightlife scene all the better. Until then you will have to put up with my own brand of slanted blather.

Lance my man! It seems my anonymous tips to the Vancouver customs agents paid off. Perhaps you will think twice next time you leave me blind drunk in the Nana Hotel again (the most savage palce on earth).
I'll be heading home in a few days. Man its tough leaving this place...took me nearly a year of humming and hawing about it before I could finally muster the will to get off this island. I wish you all the best. I'll be sure to drop you a line every now and then. Take care and god help you, us freaks need all the help we can get.

Who knows, I might even find some time to continue some of my existing series here on PB?I too have been fully-engrossed in some projects that have been leaving me with all of about 4 hours' sleep per night. For weeks now.
Please drop back in and try to add a Canadian perspective, T-Man.
Maybe we need Plan9fromCanuckistan.com, Lance?
I can see it now: Posting - woke up, sparked up, sparked out. Repeat....
