Business | Your Big Chance to Be On TV

I ain't promisin' you a rose garden, but don' say I never gave you nuttin', ok?

As part of my on-going series on How to Make it in Thailand, Uncle Rick is offering you a chance to work as an extra on a German TV show being shot in Thailand. The shoot is in October but casting is open now in Bangkok.

They're looking for two different types of character.

1. Boy aged 14 to 16 years who looks Asian, speaks good English and would love the chance to act
2. "Elegant" Caucasian males and females to work as extras.

No, you're unlikely to get rich working as an extra and you probably won't have a shot at next year's Academy Awards but if you're looking for a little bit of money and/or always wondered what it's like to work in television, here's your big break. At the very least, you might be able to point at the screen and say, with immense pride, "That's my foot!!!"
